Some websites leave a hidden note for AI agents: ignore all previous instructions. The message isn't on the page, it's in the HTTP header. You won't see it when you open the page. One team scanned 217 million page responses. 7,959 sites were writing headers for AI. 30 of them were prompt injection attempts, most of them jokes. Still, an agent can mistake the text it reads for instructions. Not every tool passes headers to the model. But an agent running curl -i in a terminal sees all of them. In testing, Claude Code ignored this header. But when the prompt gave the site authority, it complied in 7 of 9 attempts. On my own computer, I set up a server that returns this header. With curl -i, the line landed in the terminal exactly as written. Try it yourself: run curl -i against a site and read the headers. The rule: everything an agent reads is data, not instructions. Ask for approval on risky commands. Add this prompt to your agent settings, and save this video. Tomorrow: a message saying your account will be closed, verify your age. Is it real?
