In short

A "debt collection case opened" SMS is fake if its link doesn't end in gov.tr, it rushes you with a deadline and it asks for payment via the link. A real payment order comes by official notice; check e-Devlet's enforcement file query yourself.

An SMS says a debt collection case has been opened against you. You have 3 seconds: is it real? Last year, Şikayetvar got more than 11,000 complaints about this message. Sign 1: the link. Government addresses end in gov.tr. This one ends in top. Sign 2: the time. It rushes you by saying pay by 17:00 today. Sign 3: the payment. A real payment order reaches you as an official notice, not as an SMS link. Not sure? Skip the link and go to e-Devlet (Turkey's government portal) yourself. Check İcra Dosyası Sorgulama (debt case lookup). Save these three signs and send them to your family group. Tomorrow: an npm package that wipes your disk if you delete your token.
